Photo Archive Rescue terms of use.

SECTION / 01

Website and guidance

You may read and link to public pages for lawful purposes. The guides provide general archive-preservation information and should be checked against Nikon’s current official notices. They are not Nikon support, legal advice or a guarantee that any cloud export is complete.

SECTION / 02

Free Edition and 500-media-item allowance

The Free Edition may process up to 500 lifetime media items on one Windows account and PC. Photos, RAW files and videos count together. Previously counted files remain part of that allowance, including after a normal reinstall. The allowance is not a recurring monthly or annual quota and may not be reset or bypassed by reinstalling, altering application data or using another copy of the software.

The Free Edition is licensed for the same permitted personal use described below. No payment is required for that edition.

SECTION / 03

Full License

A Full License costs $29.99 per year. After successful activation, it allows unlimited supported media while valid on one Windows PC. The activation allowance and any edition-specific details displayed at Lemon Squeezy checkout form part of the licence.

A Full License grants one individual buyer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use Photo Archive Rescue on that buyer’s own Windows PC for personal archive work. It does not transfer ownership of the software.

SECTION / 04

Payment through Lemon Squeezy

Full License purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. The price, currency, taxes and purchase details displayed at checkout control the transaction. Lemon Squeezy collects payment, issues the receipt and supplies or administers the associated licence key.

Photo Archive Rescue does not receive or store complete payment-card details. Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms and privacy policy govern checkout and payment processing in addition to these product terms.

SECTION / 05

Activation and licence keys

A Full License requires a valid Lemon Squeezy licence key and may require an internet connection to activate, validate or deactivate an installation. Keep the key confidential. Do not publish, sell, share or use it beyond the activation allowance supplied with the purchase.

Activation is separate from archive processing. Licence requests may include the key and installation-instance information, but photographs, videos, filenames, EXIF data, GPS coordinates and archive contents are not sent to Lemon Squeezy as part of activation or validation.

SECTION / 06

Refunds and payment support

Refund eligibility is governed by the terms shown at checkout, Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms and applicable consumer law. No separate refund period is promised by these terms. Send product or licence-support requests to capsanigra@gmail.com and include the Lemon Squeezy order number when relevant. Payment-card, billing and receipt issues may need to be handled by Lemon Squeezy.

Nothing in these terms limits cancellation, refund or other statutory rights that cannot lawfully be limited. A refund or charge reversal may deactivate the related Full License.

SECTION / 07

Permitted use

You may use the software to work with your own archive or material you are authorised to process. You remain responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions. You retain ownership of your photographs, archives and rescue outputs; neither Photo Archive Rescue nor Lemon Squeezy obtains ownership of that content.

You may not redistribute or resell the software or licence key, share a personal licence with another person, bypass the 500-media-item allowance or other technical restrictions, reverse engineer the software except where applicable law expressly permits it, interfere with the website or licensing service, present the product as your own, or distribute unofficial installers.

Archive responsibility and product limits

Keep original downloads and independent backups. Photo Archive Rescue helps inspect, copy and verify files supplied by the user; it cannot recover data Nikon or another service no longer provides, guarantee that an upstream export was complete, or replace a resilient backup strategy.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website, guidance and software are provided without guarantees beyond those expressly stated at purchase. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

SECTION / 09

Third-party services and names

Lemon Squeezy is an independent checkout and licensing provider with its own terms and privacy policy. NIKON and related names belong to their respective owners. Photo Archive Rescue is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Nikon Corporation. External services and links may change outside Photo Archive Rescue’s control.

SECTION / 10

Support boundaries and changes

Email support covers reasonable assistance with installation, product operation, Lemon Squeezy licence activation and confirmed defects. It does not include Nikon account support, cloud-export fulfilment, recovery of files absent from the supplied archive, professional data-recovery services or a guaranteed response or resolution time.

Material changes to these terms will be published at this URL with an updated date. Changes do not remove statutory rights or rewrite the completed purchase terms retrospectively.
