SECTION / 01
Local archive access
The application accesses only the ZIP file, folder, destination and related files the user chooses. It may read photographs, videos, filenames, file-system dates, EXIF information, camera and lens details and GPS coordinates to build the local catalogue and carry out the requested rescue workflow.
Those archive contents are processed on the Windows PC. They are not uploaded to Photo Archive Rescue servers, Lemon Squeezy or Nikon. The application does not request Nikon account credentials.
SECTION / 02
Local application data
Temporary previews and archive objects may use the Windows per-user application cache. Catalogue, quota, language and licence state may also be stored in the user’s Windows profile. The user chooses the rescue destination. Clearing local application data is a device-level action and does not delete the original archive.
SECTION / 03
Website delivery
This static website has no customer accounts, contact form, advertising trackers or customer-photo upload. Its hosting provider may process ordinary request data such as IP address, browser details, requested URL and timestamps for delivery, reliability and security.
SECTION / 04
Checkout and payment through Lemon Squeezy
Paid purchases are completed through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy and its payment providers may collect and process the buyer’s name, email address, billing address, payment information, tax location, IP address, device information and transaction details to complete the purchase, prevent fraud, issue receipts, calculate tax and meet legal obligations.
Photo Archive Rescue does not receive or store complete payment-card details. Lemon Squeezy’s own privacy policy governs information entered into its checkout.
SECTION / 05
Licence activation and validation
To activate, validate or deactivate a paid licence, the application communicates with Lemon Squeezy’s licensing service. The request includes the licence key and the installation instance information required to identify that activation. Lemon Squeezy may associate the request with licence, product, order and customer records.
Licence requests do not include archive photographs, videos, filenames, EXIF data, GPS coordinates or the contents of the user’s ZIP files and folders. An internet connection may be required for licence activation or validation, but not for local archive analysis itself.
SECTION / 06
Order and support information
Photo Archive Rescue may use limited purchase and licence information supplied through Lemon Squeezy—such as customer name, purchase email, order identifier, product, licence status and activation record—to provide fulfilment, licence support, fraud prevention, accounting and legally required records.
For support, users should avoid sending photographs, archives, passwords, full licence keys or payment-card details. Include only the minimum information needed to investigate the issue.
SECTION / 07
Retention, choices and requests
Local archive data remains under the user’s control on their device. Lemon Squeezy retains transaction and licence information according to its own policy and legal obligations. Requests about Lemon Squeezy checkout data may need to be handled by Lemon Squeezy; product privacy and support questions can be sent to capsanigra@gmail.com.
SECTION / 08
Policy changes
This policy will be updated before any material change to archive processing, analytics, support collection, licensing providers or other personal-data use. The current version and its update date will remain available at this URL.
