CAPSA NIGRA / PRIVACY
Privacy policy.
How Capsa Nigra approaches data across its website and desktop, iOS and Android apps.
Last updated: 18 September 2026
Scope and app-specific details
This policy applies to the Capsa Nigra website and to Capsa Nigra apps made available for Windows, iOS or Android. A product page, store listing or notice inside an app may provide more specific information about that app. The more specific notice controls if it differs from this general policy.
Photo Archive Rescue has a separate product privacy policy describing its local archive processing and Lemon Squeezy licensing. Other apps must identify their own data access, collection, sharing and third-party services in their store disclosures and in-app notices.
Information an app may handle
The information handled depends on the features a person chooses to use. It may include content selected on the device, account or contact details entered by the user, purchase or subscription status supplied by Apple, Google or another authorised payment provider, device and app-version information, diagnostics, and information sent in a support request.
An app must ask for device permissions only when needed for a feature. Where Apple or Google requires a prominent in-app disclosure or consent, that disclosure is presented before the relevant access or collection. Declining an optional permission may prevent only the related feature from working.
How information is used
Information is used to provide requested app features, maintain security, validate access or purchases, respond to support and privacy requests, diagnose faults, meet legal obligations and improve reliability. Capsa Nigra does not sell personal or sensitive user data.
If an app sends information off the device, its app-specific notice must identify the data, purpose and relevant service provider. Store privacy declarations must include data collected by integrated third-party code and must remain consistent with the released app.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by providers that support hosting, app distribution, purchases, subscriptions, licensing, crash reporting or support, but only for the relevant service and subject to appropriate data-protection obligations. Apple and Google process store, payment and device information under their own policies. Capsa Nigra may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect users, rights or service security.
Retention, deletion and privacy choices
Information is kept only for as long as needed for the stated purpose, legal compliance, dispute resolution and security. Retention can differ for local app data, support correspondence, transaction records and provider-held information. Removing an app normally removes its app-managed local data, but it may not remove backups, store purchase history, support email or information held by a third-party provider.
To request access, correction or deletion, withdraw a previous consent, or ask a privacy question, use the instructions on the support page or email capsanigra@gmail.com. Identify the app and platform, but do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive content. We may need to verify the request before acting.
If an app lets a user create an account, it must also provide an in-app account-deletion path. The support page provides the external web route for requesting deletion of the account and associated data. Some records may be retained where legally required, for security, or to complete a transaction; the response will explain any applicable exception.
Security and international processing
Capsa Nigra uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information handled, including encrypted network transport where information is transmitted. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Service providers may process information in countries other than the user’s own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.
Children
Capsa Nigra apps are not directed to children unless the relevant store listing expressly says otherwise. If an app is directed to children, its specific notice and store disclosures will describe the additional protections that apply. Contact us if you believe a child supplied personal information contrary to an app’s stated audience.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be published at this URL with a revised date and, where required, communicated in the app. Privacy and data-deletion questions can be sent to capsanigra@gmail.com or submitted through the support page.
